Amsterdam Students File Complaints Against Landlord
Hundreds of students in Amsterdam have filed reports against homestay providers regarding contract breaches and inflated service costs. Residents had previously filed complaints with the rent commission, but the landlord allegedly submitted fake invoices to justify the high costs during the appeal process. The landlord subsequently appealed the decision, allegedly submitting fraudulent invoices to justify the costs, according to Stichting Woon.
