BASF Expands Production in Zhanjiang, China
German chemical giant BASF has fully commenced production at its integrated site in Zhanjiang, Guangdong province. The project represents a total investment of approximately $8.7 billion (69.4 billion RMB). This facility is part of a larger wave of foreign investment in China, which has seen significant projects totaling $13.4 billion across Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangsu, and Guangdong.
