Germany Surpasses US In Ammunition Production
Germany is working to increase its production capacity for conventional artillery shells to between 500,000 and over 4 million units. The country is also aiming to scale production of other munitions from 70,000 to 1 million units. One involved company expects annual revenue to reach up to 15 billion euros. These production targets are part of broader efforts to address military supply needs. Germany has overtaken the United States in total ammunition production capacity.
