The company issuing the claims states that over 11,000 organizations have agreed to settle out of court. Online patent company CEO Alina Akinshina stated that patent claims do not violate the law. One entrepreneur, Oleg, reportedly paid multiple settlements ranging from 25,000 to 35,000 rubles to avoid litigation. Another entrepreneur, Svetlana, faced claims regarding a photo posted in 2016 despite having purchased the image from a specialized site.
