Fuel Theft From Russia And Belarus Costs 2 Million Euro Monthly
Approximately 200 trucks per day transport fuel from Russia and Belarus through a mobile department. The mechanism was designed to compensate oil producers for the price difference between domestic and international markets. Alexander Nolog, a prominent figure, noted the decision regarding these subsidies. The current moratorium is set to run from October 2025 to May 2026. Novok stated that if necessary, moratoriums could be reinstated through separate decisions. The Russian government will not extend the temporary moratorium that prohibited the deprivation of oil resources. According to Vladimir Bobylev of the journal 'Oil-Capital', the government is making efforts to prevent production declines from matching last year's rates. Authorities have maintained permission for the use of chemical additives to increase the volume of high-grade fuel production.
