Russia And Myanmar Discuss Energy Cooperation
Russia and Myanmar are conducting negotiations regarding the construction of an oil refinery. The Russian embassy reported that officials discussed supplying petroleum products, including liquefied natural gas, from Russia to Myanmar in April. Myanmar's current refining capacities cover only two to three percent of its domestic crude oil processing demand. The two nations are also exploring joint initiatives in small-scale hydropower and wind power generation. Additionally, Georgia increased its cheese imports from Russia to a modern historical high in March.
