China Issues Yuan-Denominated Bonds
The Ministry of Finance has commenced the issuance of two tranches of ultra-long-term special treasury bonds today. These bonds feature fixed interest rates with semi-annual payments. The funds are designated to support major national strategic projects and critical security infrastructure. The first batch includes fixed-rate bonds with various maturities. Yuan-denominated government bonds have been issued in February and April.
