Michael Stipe To Release Solo Album
Musician Flea has released his first solo album titled Honorah. The album features various jazz styles and represents a departure from his previous work. Flea noted that his stepfather, a jazz musician, influenced his musical direction starting at age seven. The release was discussed in an interview on NPR's Fresh Air. The album follows his work as the bassist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The track Morning Cry is featured on the release. The release is expected to occur in early July. The project is reportedly being produced by Andrew Watt.
