Carnegie Hall Director Rejects Political Stances
Carnegie Hall Artistic Director Sir Clive Gilinson stated the institution will not take political positions. Gilinson said the importance of remaining agnostic to present all artists and views. He noted that the venue provides a platform for performers rather than a platform for political discourse. The director expressed that the institution is not thrilled when performers take extreme positions.
