Łukasz Litewka Awarded Officer's Cross Posthumously
Łukasz Litewka was posthumously awarded the Officer's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta for outstanding public and social activities. Litewka died on April 23 after being struck by a car while riding a bicycle between Dąbrowa Górnicza and Sosnowiec. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Sejm Marshal Włodzimierz Krzysztofowicz attended the ceremony. Prosecutors are currently conducting an investigation into the accident.
