US Mayors To Provide Free Viewing Zones For World Cup
Mayors in major American metropolises have decided to establish free viewing zones for the upcoming World Cup. These zones will accommodate between 5,000 and 10,000 fans throughout the tournament. Locations include a zone in Queens near the US Open courts, a zone at the Rockefeller Center in Manhattan during July, and zones in the Bronx and Staten Island operating for two and four days respectively. The zones will not require tickets, according to the report. The World Cup final is scheduled to be played at East Rutherford's MetLife Stadium on July 19.
