New York City Eases Jazz Club Licensing
A tech executive observed a post-pandemic trend of young people, with an average age of around 30, exploring jazz clubs in lower Manhattan. This trend is attributed to the spontaneity and authenticity of jazz improv. The executive noted that this phenomenon is helping to boost the jazz club business, as young people begin to explore adulthood in social environments. The latest case involves a city resident who visited the 388 Italian restaurant in Roslyn Heights last Sunday. The patient recently traveled internationally. Five of the six cases involve unvaccinated individuals, with the vaccination status of the latest case unknown. Alistair Martin stated that vaccination is the best protection and the risk to vaccinated New Yorkers remains extremely low. Cities like New York have recently made it easier for clubs to obtain necessary licenses.
