Estonian Composer Arvo Pärt Denied Exit Visa
Estonian composer Arvo Pärt and his wife were denied exit visas for a concert in Helsinki. Pärt suggested his works may be disliked by officials as the reason for the denial. The embassy in Helsinki provided no explanation for the decision.
