Melbourne artist Richard Luer has been announced as the winner of the Archibald Prize. Luer won for his portrait titled Iluwanti Ken, which depicts a Pidgin Dara elder, senior artist, and traditional healer. He was selected from 59 finalists and will receive $100,000.
