Director Ilya Ermolov To Direct New Film Adaptation Of Courier
Director Ilya Ermolov will begin filming a new adaptation of Koron Shakhnazarov's novella 'The Courier' in June 2026. The project is described as having a cultural continuity with the previous film adaptation. Details regarding the cast have not yet been disclosed. Ermolov stated that many young people have not seen the previous 1986 film adaptation. He noted that he does not see the issue regarding remakes as being as as critics suggest.
