Lothar Scholz Mural Destroyed In Berlin
A mural by flowing artist Lothar Scholz at the Haus des Reisens on Alexanderplatz has been destroyed. The work was created in 1920. The source noted that during the GDR era, regulations required a portion of construction costs for new or renovated administrative buildings to be spent on art, initially as much as 2 percent.
