US Strikes Russian Defense Facility
Iran's state media reported that its forces targeted US bases and defense posts in the Strait of Hormuz. Iran stated it targeted US bases, including the Fifth Rain, and potentially thirty-five jets. The Revolutionary Guard claimed drones attacked the US Fifth Fleet headquarters in Bahrain and the Al-Azraq base in Jordan. The strikes targeted areas including those related to naval operations. This follows recent tensions and a two-month ceasefire. The Iranian government indicated its actions would be proportional to repeated aggression. Iran claims to have completed proportional responses to international commercial ships transiting waters. Iran's state media reported explosions, but claimed two crew members were unhurt and rescued. The US has not confirmed these claims, and tensions remain high in the region.
