Sun Yanling And Geng Jingzhong Join Rebellion
China's Southern Theater Command spokesperson, Senior Captain Zhao Shichen, stated that the PLA Southern Theater Command Navy conducted a routine patrol in the South China Sea on April 28th. Guangxi's Sun Yanling has rebelled, and Fujian's King Geng Jingzhong has also raised an army in response. Geng Jingzhong, grandson of Geng Zhongming and son-in-law of Prince Su, has joined the rebellion following Sun Yanling's uprising in Guangxi. Geng Jingzhong is the grandson of Geng Zhongming, one of the early Three Feudatories, and the son-in-law of Prince Su. Kangxi's initial plan focused on Wu Sangui, but the unexpected rebellions in Fujian and Guangxi forced him to adapt. Kangxi's initial strategy assumed the rebellion would be quelled in eight months, primarily targeting Wu Sangui.
