Russian Refinery Shuts Half Capacity After Drone Attack
The oil refinery located in Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod region, sustained damage following a large-scale and prolonged Ukrainian attack. Drones attacked the Kstovo oil refinery and a chemical complex in Russia's Stavropol region. OSINT analysis indicates an oil processing unit is burning at the Kstovo refinery. Multiple Ukrainian drone strikes successfully hit the oil refinery in Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod region, located approximately 400 km east of Moscow. Lukoil's Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez refinery, one of Russia's top five largest, has shut down half its capacity. The shutdown follows a drone attack on Wednesday, which specifically affected the AVT-6 primary processing unit.
