The war has caused a direct economic loss of $1 million per day in Iran, according to Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Security Gülham Hüsü'yün Muhammadi. The conflict has affected 23,000 additional factories and firms within the country. Business closures and rising unemployment are being reported as consequences of the ongoing war.
