Iran May Prepare Different Negotiation Proposal
Iranian news agency Tasnim reports that Iran is preparing for a possible resumption of hostilities as current ceasefire terms approach their end. The previous proposal, reportedly involving Donald Trump, addressed the opening and liberation of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz. However, the agreement on the framework remains delayed as the United States has not yet reached a consensus on the terms. The source noted that Iran has already approached Oman with a proposal to avoid rocket attacks and strikes. Jet fuel prices have increased by 85 to 86 percent compared to the week ending February 27, prior to the war in Iran. Crude oil prices have increased by approximately 53 percent during the same period. These rising costs represent a challenge for airlines and are expected to impact the global market, particularly in Asia and Europe.
