Russia's Defense Ministry stated that its forces shot down 56 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory. This claim was made hours after a three-day ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine mediated by the United States concluded. Ukrainian drones have reportedly hit multiple Russian targets. Russia's Ministry of Defense reported that 556 drones were intercepted and downed. Russian air defenses reportedly intercepted dozens of drones over Moscow Oblast and other regions. The Ministry of Defense stated that 550 Ukrainian drones were destroyed. Russia's military stated it shot down more than 500 drones overnight across various regions. This claim follows an increase in drone attacks since the start of Russia's invasion. President Zelensky called the drone attacks a escalation.
