Latvia To Provide Tracked Reconnaissance Vehicles To Ukraine
Spain is set to provide Ukraine with 100 VAMTAC armored vehicles and 155 mm ammunition to bolster defense capabilities. The first shipments of this military aid are expected to arrive in early May 2026. This delivery follows ongoing international support for Ukrainian security. The Ministry of Defense did not specify the exact number of vehicles being provided. Ukrainian Defense Minister Andrii Sybiha stated the aid is being provided based on the current needs of the armed forces to combat Russian aggression. Latvia aims to ensure Ukraine maintains a strong position on the battlefield.
