Peru Rescues 33 Kidnapped Workers
A unified command rescued 33 kidnapped workers from the 'La Joya 24, 25' mine in the Pueblo Nuevo district of Acarí. The rescue operation was confirmed by initial reports. The workers were reportedly held for ransom by an armed group.
