French Deputies Honor Soldiers Killed In Lebanon Ambush
A national tribute was held this morning for Sergeant Anice Gérardin in the Marne regiment. The 31-year-old soldier died from injuries sustained during an ambush. Another military member, Florian Montoriou, was also killed during the incident. The ambush was attributed to Hezbollah. Corporal Chief Anis and Girardin died several days after the incident following their injuries. The Minister of the Armed Forces praised their courage and loyalty.
