UNICEF Reports Increased Palestinian Injuries from Settler Attacks
A Palestinian prisoner from Gaza was reportedly hospitalized in July 2024 with a torn rectum, fractured ribs, and a punctured lung. UNICEF spokesperson James Elder reported that March 2026 saw the highest number of Palestinians injured by settler attacks in the last 20 years. The attacks are described as increasingly coordinated.
