Ukrainian Woman Broke Husband's Legs to Prevent Frontline Service
A Ukrainian woman has confessed to breaking her husband's legs and force-feeding him to prevent him from being sent to the front lines. The couple sought to extend his hospital stay to achieve a Category D deferment from military service. They were advised by a military lawyer to focus on the husband's obesity to gain a medical exemption.
