Equipment Deployed For Tuapse Fire Evacuation
A Ukrainian drone attack triggered a large fire at a Russian oil refinery located on the Black Sea. Evacuations were reported at the site. Residents near the facility have been evacuated, according to Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov. The number of specialists fighting the fire at the oil refinery has increased to 164, utilizing 46 pieces of equipment. The Krasnodar Krai operational headquarters confirmed the fire occurred after drone debris fell on the refinery. President Vladimir Putin received a report from the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations regarding the refinery fires in Tuapse. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that strikes on Tuapse oil storage facilities are not intended to further destabilize global energy markets. Sergey Baiko, the head of Kuban city, reported that the strike hit the territory of an oil refinery.
