Two Shootings Reported In Athens
Police in Athens are responding to two separate shooting incidents. One occurred at a building in the Kerameikos area and a second took place at the Efeteio on Louka Kareou Street. Authorities suggest the perpetrator in both cases may be the same individual. The suspect is described as an 89-year-old male. Traffic remains heavy near Vasilissis Sofias, University, and the descent of Kifissos. One shooting occurred at the Evkas building in Kerameikos, and a second took place at the Efeteio on Odou Kareos. Traffic remains heavy near the Parliament on Vasilissis Sofias and surrounding areas including Panepistimiou and Peristeri.
