Journalist Allegedly Assassinated During Reporting Mission
Zainab Faraj, a reporter for Al-Aqbar, was reportedly targeted and assassinated while covering the return of refugees in southern Israel on April 22. Faraj was accompanied by colleague Nicolas Coadouf, who was also killed during the mission. Faraj survived the incident but sustained serious injuries. The two journalists were reportedly unarmed and carrying only a camera and a microphone.
