RSF Occupation Leaves Khartoum Devastated

BBC WS backup Khartoum 23h13h Impact 8
Life is slowly returning to Khartoum following the RSF occupation, which was particularly dangerous for women. Cleanup and repair efforts are underway, but large parts of the city remain without electricity and running water. The government is assessing the cost of damage. The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) looted much of Khartoum, leaving the city bare of appliances and belongings. Millions fled the city during the occupation, which was marked by shelling and dangerous conditions. Reconstruction costs for Khartoum are estimated at over $100 billion.
