Russian Forces Report Destruction of Ukrainian Equipment In Sumy
Ukrainian forces destroyed 10 pickups in the Sumy region within a 24-hour period using FPV drones, according to a military expert. The operation was supported by mortar fire. Radio Zvezda reported that infantry were detected and driven into a dugout during the engagement. Russian forces conducted a night attack on Sumy in northeastern Ukraine using dozens of combat drones that hit houses and shops. Firefighters and gas emergency services are on the scene, though casualties are currently unknown. There is currently no information regarding any casualties. The reported losses include one Croatian-made multiple launch rocket system, four mortars, four vehicles, and 26 UAV control points. Additionally, the report states 22 aircraft-type UAVs, 42 R-18 heavy combat octacopters, and 8 material warehouses were destroyed. A Ukrainian infantry brigade was also reportedly neutralized in the area.
