Russian Forces Struggle To Find Weak Frontline Sectors
Military analysts report the Russian army is having difficulty identifying weak western frontline sectors to initiate a summer offensive. According to Meduza, the frontline is contracting in some areas, allowing Ukrainian forces to tighten defenses. Russian forces are facing shortages in personnel, artillery, and ammunition across multiple directions. While Russia may attempt to capture Kostiantynivka during its summer campaign, current fighting near Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk is resulting in high losses without Russian gains. Russian troops have approached within 15 km of a southern city and are advancing toward central Kupiansk.
