Donald Trump Questions Iran Nuclear Launch Threat To Europe
The US military reportedly targeted two Iranian-flagged air transport ships attempting to enter an Iranian port in the Gulf of Oman. Iranian media also reported sporadic fighting in the area. This follows earlier clashes in the strait the night before. US President Trump stated he still views his country's ceasefire with Iran as ongoing despite the recent attacks. According to naval ship dates, both disabled freighters bear the Iranian title 'Har Do Kashti'. Tehran also reportedly warned of a 'besieged sea'. A general described an incident involving an Iranian oil tanker as "brutality" and "acts of piracy" in the context of an American blockade. A mission was reportedly given to Sankom to enforce this blockade, which the Iranians attempted to challenge. BFM Radio reported on efforts to enforce the blockade, stating that Iranians have made attempts in this context.
