Police Find No Suspects In Sinzing Hostage Situation
A hostage situation is currently underway at a Volksbank branch in Sinzing, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. Police report that several perpetrators are involved, holding multiple hostages, including the driver of a money transporter. Emergency forces are on site in the Ahrweiler district with a large deployment, and cordoning measures are in place. Unknown persons took hostages in a branch of Volksbank in Germany. Two people held hostage during a bank robbery in Sinzing, Germany, were found unharmed after an elite unit invaded the bank. German authorities reported the suspect of the assault is currently at large. The perimeter of the building was fully secured. Police spokesperson Jürgen Fachinger stated that no further person was found in the property in Sinzing, which had been completely searched.
