Iran has strongly opposed this action, leading to multiple military frictions between the US and Iran in the past 48 hours. The US has suspended its 'Freedom of Navigation' operation for a period to observe the finalization and signing of a comprehensive agreement between the US and Iran. Iran understands that global shipping prioritizes certainty in high-risk situations. The United States and Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and other Arab nations have jointly proposed a UN Security Council resolution demanding Iran cease attacks and mine-laying activities, and cooperate with mine clearance and humanitarian corridors. Russia's Foreign Ministry spokesperson stated that Russia remains open to negotiation processes that yield practical results and has never abandoned talks, but expressed doubts about Ukraine's willingness to negotiate.
