Russia Violates Ukraine Ceasefire Agreement
At least 22 people have died in Ukraine. WBUR reported that the CDC blames Russian occupying forces for events occurring in Oleski, while Russia places blame on Ukraine. WBUR Boston reports that Russian occupying forces are being blamed for the attacks, while Russia attributes the situation to Ukraine. Ukraine stated it would continue military strikes against Russia during any declared ceasefire period. Small arms contacts are significantly decreasing while the scale of damage is significantly increasing, according to the report. Russian forces launched a series of attacks overnight, resulting in at least 27 deaths and 120 injuries. An advisor to the Ukrainian Minister of Defense stated the strikes targeted weapons seizures that the Kremlin had demanded be addressed by May 9.
