US Warship Seizes Vessel in Arabian Sea
A US warship has seized a sanctioned vessel in the Arabian Sea. A US Department of Defense official stated that clearing existing sea mines in the Strait of Hormuz could take six months and can only begin after a war ends. This operation can only proceed once a war has concluded. The US has considered deploying naval escorts to protect vessels in the strait, though risks remain high during active conflict. CRI Huayu Global reports that US minesweepers are currently conducting clearing operations in the strait.
