Mali Defense Minister Killed in Attacks
The military in Mali is attempting to reclaim territories including Kidal and Gao from the IKDA-linked Gini group. Russian mercenaries are reportedly assisting the military junta in efforts to push back the FLA. The Alliance of Sahel States (AES) confirmed the deaths and reported a repositioning of armed forces near Anne Fice. Local merchants report businesses remain closed due to fear following loud morning detonations.
