Russia Reports Strict Ceasefire Adherence
Russia has announced a one-way ceasefire starting from 00:00 on the transition from May 5 to May 6. President Putin made the decision to implement the cessation of combat activities. The Ministry stated the pause aims to facilitate diplomatic processes and maintain communication with the United States regarding a just peace. All Russian forces will cease combat activities in special military operation zones during this period. The Ministry of Defense also reported that Ukrainian forces attempted a terrorist attack on civilian infrastructure in Saint Petersburg. The Ministry stated the period aims to facilitate a new round of exchange actions in the Ukraine-Russia conflict. Russia intends to monitor partner contacts to promote a just peace and ensure its own security.
