UAE And Oman Report Missile Strikes
The United States may join a conflict in the Gulf of Oman and Arabian Sea if Iran targets oil facilities or commercial ports. Donald Trump claimed the US has sunk seven Iranian small vessels, noting that only a South Korean cargo ship has been affected. UAE schools are switching to remote learning for four days. Iran claims its forces fired warning shots at US warships and that these shots hit a US destroyer, though the US has denied this. The UAE Ministry of Defense reported that three missiles were intercepted over the sea and one fell into the water. Schools in the UAE have announced four days of remote learning. All UAE schools will move to remote learning for the next four days. The United Arab Emirates reported being targeted by approximately 15 missiles and four drones from Iran. While a ceasefire is ongoing, missiles and drones are reportedly crisscrossing the area.
