Despite ongoing clashes and stalled negotiations in the Middle East conflict, a ceasefire is currently holding. An inquiry chief stated that a sharp spike in anti-Semitic incidents in Australia appears to be clearly linked to events in the Middle East. Several people have expressed concern about the lack of support and the rise in anti-Semitism. The inquiry will continue for two weeks with public hearings. A whale reportedly left the Lastkan area on Saturday at approximately 8:45 AM. The animal's movement was significantly further east than the originally planned route from the North Sea to the Atlantic. There are conflicting reports regarding whether the whale is equipped with a tracking transmitter. The current location and health status of the whale remain unknown.
