Four Bodies Recovered After Magadan Landslide
Rescue workers discovered four bodies in a landslide area at a road construction mine in the Magadan region. The Russian Investigative Committee has launched an investigation into the incident. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation is currently investigating the cause of the landslide. Local police reported that severe rainfall caused widespread landslides in several areas including Saraka, Nisi, Elkayok, Mara, Fedet, and Gianpo. The recovery occurred following a three-day search operation in the Shifava area. Search operations are ongoing to locate other potentially buried individuals. Four people died after a landslide in Magadan. Russian emergency services confirmed the recovery of four bodies from the Lutyaymay mine landslide area after a three-day search. Road sections towards Ma'an Shan have been reopened.
