Kyivstar To Offer Starlink Broadband In Ukraine
The Ukrainian Minister of Defense reportedly informed Elon Musk that many civilians have been victims of Russian actions. Musk responded by stating Starlink would be disabled for Russians and only antennas registered by the Ukrainian government would be permitted. It remains unconfirmed whether the Starlink network has actually been deactivated in the region. The situation involves the role of private companies in active conflict zones. VEON's Kyivstar subsidiary will provide Starlink broadband services to Ukrainian enterprises and the public sector. The expansion aims to enhance connectivity for government and business entities within the country.
