Two unexploded ordnance devices were discovered in Mont-Mageur over the last three terms. One device was found on arable land approximately 8 kilometers from Cornus, requiring plowing to reveal. The devices were found on a military firing range that is not fully enclosed, with only signs indicating its status. The Directorate General of Armaments (DGA) is responsible for clearing and demining the area. An unexploded shell was found in a field near Cornice, France, 8 kilometers from the town. The French Directorate General of Armament is aware of the potential danger and is working to clear the area. The prefecture stated that a military terrain near Bourges is dangerous and may contain unexploded ordnance.
