Illegal Export Of Ukrainian Children From Occupied Territories
The Ukrainian National Resistance Center reports that more than 5,500 Ukrainian children are located in occupied territories. These children are part of the broader demographic impact within the occupied regions. The figure was cited in relation to internal documents obtained during an investigation. Internal military documents obtained through investigations indicate that the Luhansk region contains the highest number of children among all occupied territories. Funding for the system remains insufficient relative to the needs and pricing policies established in these occupied areas. In the Donetsk region, newly arrived children have been observed taking oaths on February 23, which coincides with the Russian Defender of the Fatherland Day. Child psychologist Yulia Tukalenko from the Voices of Children foundation noted the psychological impact on teenagers regarding these ceremonies.
