Russian Military Claims Territory Gains In Ukraine
Industrial infrastructure was damaged in the Ternopil region of western Ukraine following explosions in the city of Ternopil. Ukrainian military forces cleared a building in Kupiansk using drones only. The operation resulted in the deaths of 10 Russian troops with no reported casualties among Ukrainian soldiers. At least 11 people were injured in the western city of Turnopil. Save the Children issued a warning regarding the situation. Most injured individuals are reported to be in moderate or light condition, according to Chief Terenok. The incident is part of ongoing conflict developments in the region. In Vinnytsia, 74 UAVs were detected in the airspace. Russian forces conducted a large-scale drone strike targeting Chernihiv, Sumy, and other Ukrainian regions on the evening of May 1, 2026.
