Eleven Foreign Ministers Condemn Israeli Flotilla Attack
Organizers of the Sumud Flotilla report that 211 activists were detained following an intervention by Israeli soldiers in international waters off Crete. The activists were seen being moved by a Greek bus toward the port area of Heraklion. The group alleged that Israeli military personnel attempted to kidnap two individuals. The statement comes amid ongoing tensions regarding the flotilla's mission. All 175 activists from the Sumud Flotilla arrived in Crete at midday before being detained by Israeli forces. The group was traveling with the intention of reaching Gaza. These claims follow the detention of activists by the Israeli Navy.
