Zeng Zisheng, serving as the commander of the 60th Army in 1946, was transferred to the northeast by Zhang Jintian. Zeng previously led troops in battles at Taier Zhuang and Yuwang Mountain, and participated in the Wuhuan, Nanchang, and first Changsha battles.
