Girl Remanded In Waterville Following Bail Breach
A teenage girl will remain at the Waterville Youth Correctional Facility until July 20th. The lawyer argued the teen had learned her lesson, but the judge noted this was her second breach of this manner. Blair Rhodes of CBC News reported the development. Judge Mark Harima ordered the detention after the girl admitted to breaching her conditions by associating with a person holding a criminal record. This marks the second time she has breached her conditions in this manner, according to the court. The girl's lawyer argued for her release without further jail time, claiming she has learned her lesson.
